Pack Light, Travel Well

Provence is charming in every way — including its ancient cobblestone streets, winding lanes, and the reality that we'll be moving between Airbnb's, vans, and a mountain village throughout the week. That combination is exactly why I'm a strong advocate for traveling light and packing layers.

My personal setup is a Monos carry-on paired with a backpack or expandable zipper tote — and that's it. The zipper tote I use is around $9.00 on Amazon. They come in many colors and they slip over the handle of your suitcase. (not fancy, just practical) You could order 2 and pack one as an extra expandable bag for bringing home gifts. Monos is a beautiful brand that holds up well and keeps treasures organized. Monos also have strong wheels which are key for walking down cobblestone streets. I added a link in case you are interested.

Van Transport

We'll share a van throughout the week, so oversized bags can create problems for everyone when we travel to and from the airport.

Also a plus with traveling light- No checked bag fees, no waiting at carousels, no lost luggage anxiety. Just grab and go!

"The less we carry, the more we can absorb."
