Hi there! I’m Breck and welcome to my site!
Florida Art Studio began in the corner of my kid’s playroom, squeezed in between video games, nerf gun collections and old socks and has now evolved into my dream space! Making art and being creative is all I’ve ever wanted to do and I’ve built my career on sharing my passion for art with others.
As a St. Pete native and 5th generation Floridian, I have been shaped by life on the bay, tropical landscapes, sunsets, thick salty air and family traditions.
I’m a wife and mother of three wonderful children with decades of experience as an artist, art teacher and art therapist.
I attended Florida State University and hold a bachlor’s degree in studio art and masters degrees in both art education and art therapy. In addition to teaching, I paint in my studio and have a deep love for gardening and travel.

Garden much?
I created a site on Instagram during the covid years to stay connected to the gardening community and continue to grow food with my children. I named it Flo_ridagarden “Don’t Stop Beleafing” and it has become a fun place to laugh, grow and obsess on plants. Follow along if you love to garden!
